So it's the 27th of May, the day Emily Corr and I leave for Australia... WHAT?? I still can't believe it. Maybe it will hit me when I'm over the pacific ocean or when I hear my first "good day mate." We shall see. Anyway, this will be my blog for the six weeks I will be spending in Australia. As this train really starts to roll I would like to thank the Fr. Smith Fellowship Committee members for this amazing opportunity. As I carryout my service on the other side of the planet, know that I will never lose sight of how I got there and appreciate all the hard work that was done on my behalf.
Off I go Dulles to LA to Sydney... 21 hours... bring it on...
